The pump and motor operate in the liquid. Industrial sewage pump selection requires confirmation of the wastewater, duty point and installation; suitability for corrosive, hot or solids-bearing liquids must not be assumed.

APPLICATION FIT

Drainage pits and wastewater collection where the pump operates directly in the liquid.
QW uses submerged installation, with the pump and motor in the liquid. A ZW self-priming sewage pump is normally installed outside the liquid and requires review of the suction pipe and priming conditions. Neither is universally superior: choose by site layout, medium, suction arrangement and maintenance access.
- Confirm particle-passage capability against the specific model documentation, not a family-wide assumption.
- Level control and motor protection depend on the actual supplied configuration.
- Match cable length and installation depth to the sump and operating liquid levels.
- Do not assume automatic coupling, anti-clogging, anti-wrapping or explosion-proof features are standard on every QW model.
