When should I consider a ZW self-priming wastewater pump?
Consider ZW for above-ground installation where access for inspection and maintenance matters. Confirm the actual wastewater, particles and fibers against the selected model; sewage duty does not mean universal solids or chemical tolerance. For an in-pit installation, compare a QW submersible sewage pump.
What suction and startup conditions need review?
Provide the lowest liquid level, suction lift, pipe length and diameter, fittings and any inlet restrictions. The suction pipe and its joints must be airtight. Initial priming liquid is required; self-priming does not mean permission to start or run dry. Confirm permissible suction lift and startup procedure from the exact ZW model documentation, separately from discharge head.
What should a self-priming sewage pump supplier confirm?
Submit wastewater composition, temperature, viscosity, solids and fiber details; minimum/normal/maximum flow and required total dynamic head; suction layout; continuous or intermittent operation; voltage, frequency and phase; connections, quantity and destination. Confirm the proposed model, materials, duty-point performance, motor, dimensions, documents and supply scope before accepting the quotation.
