SELECTION OVERVIEW
Confirm the duty before confirming the model.
The QBK air operated diaphragm pump is a pneumatic transfer configuration. Confirm the available compressed-air pressure and supply capacity while the pump is operating, together with required liquid flow and discharge pressure. Air consumption must be checked against the exact model and operating point, not inferred from the compressor pressure alone.
Review the body, diaphragm, balls, seats and other wetted components against the exact liquid, concentration, temperature and cleaning media. Provide solids content, maximum particle size and any fibers or abrasive material. Do not transfer a different diaphragm-pump series' material options or performance limits to QBK.
INFORMATION REQUIRED
- Liquid name, concentration, temperature, viscosity, solids content and maximum particle size
- Wetted-material and diaphragm-material requirements, including cleaning-liquid compatibility
- Required flow and discharge pressure; suction lift or flooded suction, tank level and pipe arrangement
- Available air pressure and supply capacity, connection size and standard, operating duty and quantity
OPERATING NOTES
- Air supply quality, pressure and capacity under load affect output; review hose, regulator and filter restrictions and model-specific air consumption.
- Confirm body, ball, seat and diaphragm compatibility together. Particle-passage capability must be confirmed for the exact QBK configuration.
- Assess delivered flow at the required discharge pressure and actual viscosity. Confirm permissible suction lift for the actual liquid and piping; self-priming does not establish unrestricted lift or dry-running permission.
